Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026
Short version
World Arcade has no accounts, and we do not sell your personal information. Your scores and progress stay on your device (and in your own iCloud, if you use it). We use Google Firebase Analytics to learn how the app is used, and Google AdMob to show ads. Neither needs your name, email or any account.
What stays on your device
Your scores, level, streaks, achievements, settings, favourites and the friend codes you add are stored on your device. If iCloud is on, Apple syncs them between your own devices. We never receive this data; only the usage events described below leave your phone.
Usage analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it: which games are played, how long sessions last, which screens and offers are used, and whether purchases complete. It collects an app-instance identifier, your device model, OS version, language and approximate region (from your IP address), plus those usage events. It is not linked to your name or any account. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms (firebase.google.com/support/privacy).
Ads
World Arcade is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and basic device and usage information to choose and measure ads. On iPhone we ask for your permission first (App Tracking Transparency), and in regions with consent laws (such as the EU and UK) we show Google's consent form. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalised. Ads are limited to a family-friendly (PG) rating. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Purchases
The No Ads subscription is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. We only learn, through Apple's system on your device, whether the subscription is active.
Friend codes
When you tap Share my code or Challenge, the app creates a text code containing the name you chose, your rank and your best scores. You decide who receives it. Nothing is uploaded to us.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. You can turn each one off in Settings. No notification data leaves your phone.
Children
World Arcade is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
Reset progress in Settings clears everything stored in the app. Deleting the app removes local data; iCloud copies can be removed in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage. You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date below changes when we do. Last updated: October 2026.
